Brian Gath, a son of 1997 Living Legend George, began driving in 1963 and has amassed more than 3,000 wins.

 

 Leading Melbourne reinsman four times and top trainer twice, he drove 100 winners in a season eleven times and won 32 Group One races including two Hunter Cups, four Victoria Cups and the 1978 Inter Dominion Championship with Markovina, a horse he also trained.  

 

 Franco Ice, Franco Tiger and Safari are other great horses which Brian Gath was associated with.
