4th October: Kevin Riseley’s consistent Bettors Delight - Lughnasadh 4Y0 gelding Beltane was successful at Echuca taking the Moama Bowling Club Pace for C2 class over 1755 metres in a rate of 1-58.4. Trained by Patrick Ryan and driven by David Moran, Beltane from gate five parked outside the poleline leader Rockon Angel and proved too strong at the finish, defeating Mista Lombo from mid-field by a half neck, with Fowsands using the sprint lane on turning off the back of the weakening pacemaker third a half head away. Beltane has since been sold to clients of Nathan Turvey in Western Australia

11th October: John Hawke’s 5Y0 Muscle Mass - Mystic Hush gelding Carnera resuming from injury, was most impressive in winning the 2575 metre Yabby Dam Racing Trotters Handicap for T1 or better class at Geelong. First up since July, Carnera trained and driven by Lance Justice starting from an equal 30 metre backmark spent most of the race at the rear as Ventimiglia crossed Im Notta Trotter to lead. Moving three wide racing for the bell, Carnera was able to slot in one/one for a short breather in the final circuit before again easing three wide prior to the home turn. Sprinting brilliantly, Carnera dashed to the front on turning to win by 8 metres in a breeze over Zoomas Legend and William John, returning a mile rate of 2-03.8

17th October: Kevin Riseley’s home bred 4Y0 Muscles Yankee - Right Interest mare Allthemoves racing under the banner of Sheron Park Pty Ltd, snared the Katunga Clydesdale Hotel Trotters Handicap for T0 or better class over 2170 metres at Cobram. Trained by Patrick Ryan, Allthemoves with David Moran in the sulky used the sprint lane off the back of the leader Col Du Galibier to gain the day by 1.7 metres in 2-04.8 over the pacemaker, with Illawong Red 15.8 metres away in third place

18th October: 4YO Artistic Fella - Calories gelding Artful Jinks bred and raced by John Dorrington’s Dorro Nominess Pty Ltd scored in the Jet Roofing Pace for C0 class over 1690 metres at Kilmore. Artful Jinks was driven vigorously by Craig Demmler from the pole to retain the lead running into the first turn and despite copping pressure over the concluding stages, rallied strongly in the straight to prevail by a half head from Son Of Major along the sprint lane after moving forward three wide from mid-field in the last lap before dropping to the back of the leader on the home turn. Miss Victoria was third 8 metres away after racing exposed. The mile rate 1-57.3.

27th October: John Hawkes Carnera was again successful on Cranbourne Cup night taking out the 2575 metre Yabby Dam Racing Trotters Handicap for T1 or better class. Starting from a 40 metre backmark, Carnera settled at the tail of the field before making a swift move to park outside the leader William John with a circuit to travel. Showing plenty of staying prowess, Carnera raced clear on straightening to register a 2.1 metre margin over Supplements along the sprint lane in a rate of 2-04.8. Old timer Its Not Dark Yet (one/one at bell) was third 5.2 metres away

29th October: Greg Bettiol’s home bred Courage Under Fire - Dundee Hanover 5Y0 gelding Deadly Assassin was a tough victor of the Reliance Partners Horsham Pace for C0 class over 2160 metres at Hamilton. Trained and driven by Great Western’s Grant Campbell, Deadly Assassin starting from the extreme draw settled at the tail of the field as pole marker Bezza retained the front running. Set alight through the middle stages to park in the open at the bell, Deadly Assassin applying plenty of pressure to the leader approaching the final bend, was too strong at the finish, scoring by 2.1 metres in 1-58.7. Ta Failte Rote was third 1.3 metres away after trailing the leader
