1st November Shepparton: Kevin Riseley’s Sheron Park snared the Shepparton Presentation Night 3/11/19 Trotters Mobile over 2190 metres with Right Moves, a 3Y0 daughter of French stallion The Best Madrik and handy race mare Right Interest. Trained by Patrick Ryan at Arcadia, Right Moves making her race debut used the sprint lane from three back the markers to defeat Prettylilangus (one/two) by a metre, with Kilarney Heidi third 2.5 metres away after leading. The mile rate 2-03.8

2nd November Tabcorp Park Melton: Peter Svanosio and partners have picked up a smart 4Y0 Majestic Son-Access To Success mare by the name of Norquay which greeted the judge in the 2240 metre Woodlands Trotters Mobile, returning a mile rate of 1-58.6. Trained by Chris Svanosio, Norquay (gate 4) taking a concession for Michelle Phillips raced outside the leader and favourite Mar Pacifico and proved too strong at the business end of proceedings for Fatouche (one/three) and Mar Pacifico who was a neck away in third place.

5th November Yarra Valley: Steve Warren’s honest 5Y0 Majestic Son-Smilin Eyes entire Majestic Eyes was successful in the United Petroleum Trotters Handicap over 2150 metres. Raced in partnership with trainer/driver Ginger Gleeson, Majestic Eyes settled five back along the markers after starting from 20 metres as Hot Ziggety had taken over. Extricated three and four wide in the final circuit, Majestic Eyes finished full of running to prevail by 1.3 metres over Jade Nien (one/one) which gained an inside passage on turning, with Goodtime P Rabbit a head away third after racing exposed for the last lap. The mile rate 2-05.

5th November Swan Hill: Bob & Mary Willis' 5Y0 Shadow Play-Our Waltzing Mathilda mare Miss Victoria trained and driven by Lance Justice was victorious in the Toshiba Air Conditioning Pace over 1750 metres. Crossing the leader Clem McArdle drawn immediately inside her shortly after the start after going forward from gate three, Miss Victoria was allowed to bowl along at her leisure before kicking clear approaching the final bend. Holding a margin all the way up the running, Miss Victoria had 2.5 metres to spare at the finish, defeating Clem McArdle and Amendment Thirteen which missed away before circling the field to race parked, finishing 3.1 metres away. The mile rate a slick 1-55.7.

8th November Bathurst (NSW): John Dorrington’s ever reliable 9Y0 home bred Courage Under Fire-Pareen gelding Smokey Quartz was successful in the 1730 metre Bedwells Feed Barn Staff & Management Team Pace. Trained by KerryAnne Morris and driven by husband Robbie, Smokey Quartz led all of the way from gate four to register a 3.1 metre victory in 1-56.9 over Fouroeight which parked outside him from the bell, with 3.1 metres away in third place after trailing the winner.

16th November Cranbourne: Terry Suhan, Len Petch and partners are having lots of fun with their 4Y0 Somebeachsomewhere-Resonante gelding Glenledi Boy which landed the Jack McPherson Memorial Pace over 2090 metres. Trained by Gary and Debbie Quinlan at Drouin, Glenledi Boy with Chris Alford in the sulky went forward from gate four to assume control and travelled beautifully until straightening where he raced a little greenly, however Alford straightened him up to reach the wire 2.1 metres in advance of Prince McArdle (one/one) and Gilty Hanover which ran on late from well back for third 16 metres away. The mile rate 2-01.2.

16th November Cranbourne: Ian Kitchin and Ken Adams would have been thrilled when 8Y0 Ponder-Wya Mya Macray gelding Tee Cee Bee Macray returned to the winners list to take the 2080 metre City Of Casey Tricodes Pace. Driven by James Herbertson for trainer Jess Tubbs, Tee Cee Bee Macray was given a sweet trip one/one from inside the second line as rank outsider Still Of The Night led from gate three. Joining the leaders three wide on the final bend, it was the Tee Cee Bee Macray of old as he charged clear on straightening to register a 2.4 metre margin over Jean Luc which followed him home, with Our Sportscaster 6 metres back in third place after trailing the pair. The mile rate 1-58.9.

22nd November TP Melton: Peter Svanosio’s Norquay was again victorious at Melton when a strong winner of the Niota Bloodstock Trotters Mobile over 2240 metres in a mile rate of 2-00.7. With son Chris taking the reins on this occasion, Norquay was given a cosy trip from gate five one/one, before scoring easily and impressively by 1.3 metres over Success Counts from a mile back, with Galleons Glory (five back the markers) running home late for third 2.4 metres away.

22nd November TP Melton: Glenledi Boy was again victorious Terry Suhan and Len Petch, taking out the Dynamic Print Group Pace Final over 2240 metres. Trained by Gary & Debbie Quinlan at Drouin, with Chris Alford again in the sulky, Glenledi Boy was very strong going to the wire after racing exposed for the majority of the journey, defeating Delwyns Son along the sprint lane after trailing the weakening leader Gilty Hanover which held down third 1.7 metres back. The mile rate 1-58.5.

23rd November Geelong: Merv Butterworth’s smart Kiwi bred 4Y0 Lincoln Royal-Crush gelding Rupert Of Lincoln returned to the winners list with an all of the way victory from the pole in the Bolld Toyota Geelong Pace over 2100 metres. Trained and driven by Kerryn Manning, Rupert Of Lincoln had the race in his keeping moments after the start and with no pressure applied, ran out a 2 metre victor over A Fair Ol Dance which trailed using the sprint lane, with Somerocksomeroll (one/two) third 1.1 metres away. The mile rate 2-02.6.

23rd November Tabcorp Park Menangle (NSW): John Dorrington’s Smokey Quartz once again greeted the judge, taking the 2300 metre Production Team Pace over 2300 metres. Buried three back the markers from gate three, Smokey Quartz when taken into the clear by Robbie Morris on turning, rattled home to record a 1.7 metre margin over ex-Victorian Flaming Flutter which led in 1-54.5. Another ex-Victorian Vinny Chase a stablemate of the winner was third 5.7 metres back after leading out, then trailing the pacemaker.

25th November Maryborough: Duncan McPherson’s Aldebaran Lodge provided a handy type in Muscle Hill – Kyvalley Aldebaran colt Aldebaran Knox which scored in the 2190 metre Thank You Susan & Mark Hayes 3Y0 Trotters Mobile. Trained and driven by Mattie Craven, Aldebaran Knox received a beaut trip from gate two trailing the pacemaker Whos Countn inside him before easing wide approaching the final bend. Opening up on turning, Aldebaran Knox ran home stylishly to prevail by 10.8 metres over Peter Manning’s Dublin Chubb which made a couple of mistakes, with Bacardi Bindi third 3.9 metres away in third place after following the winner throughout. The mile rate 2-03.

30th November Tabcorp Park Melton: Peter Svanosio’s highly promising 4Y0 Majestic Son-Access To Success mare Norquay won again, chalking up her 3rd win for the month and seventh overall from 16 outings by taking the 2240 metre Allied Express Trotters Mobile. Trained and driven by son Chris, Norquay was given the run of the race from the pole trailing the heavily supported favourite Custodian which burnt across from gate five. Making full use of the sprint lane, Norquay scored by 2.3 metres over the pacemaker, with Il Pirita a game third 1.3 metres away in third place after racing wide. The mile rate 2-00.8.

30th November Tabcorp Park Menangle: John Dorrington finished the month on a high note when Smokey Quartz again greeted the judge, this time in the 1609 metre Two Suns Premium Dry Pace. Taking a concession for Josh Gallagher, Smokey Quartz was given an economical passage from gate two trailing the pacemaker and long odds-on favourite Wrappers Delight. Gaining a split in the straight, Smokey Quartz finish strongly to account for rank outsider Motu Gatecrasher (three back the markers) which followed him throughout, with Funatthebeach a half neck away in third place after joining the weakening leader on turning. The mile rate a slashing 1-52.7. Smokey Quartz has now registered 29 wins and 30 placings from 137 starts, earning stakes in excess of $265, 777 to date.
