A master trainer who loved nothing better than beating the bookies with a well executed plunge.

 

 “Tubby” Peace won the Melbourne trainers premiership in 1988-89 training 225 overall winners for that season.  He was instrumental in son Andrew’s four metro premierships in the eighties and nineties.  

 

 Best horses included Indemnity, Double Wipe, Level Advice, Hyperstat and of course champion juvenile Nicotine Prince.
