4th Sept: Kevin Riseley’s smart Bettors Delight - Lughnasagh 4Y0 gelding Beltane trained at Shepparton by Patrick Ryan was successful in the 2160 metre Graham Adams Bookmaker Pace for C0 class at Echuca. Driven by Greg Sugars, Beltane raced in the open for the last half of the journey, proving too strong at the finish for Leopold Lombo which trailed the weakening leader and third placegetter Our Sir Denver. The margins 7.2 X 4.8 metres in a mile rate of 1-58

10th Sept: At Globe Derby Park in Adelaide , Rod Pollock’s 11Y0 Sierra Kosmos - Anders Belle gelding The Dutchman led throughout to capture the Newspot Motor Group Trotters Handicap for TR3 or better class over 2230 metres. Trained by David Smith and driven by son Michael, The Dutchman led throughout , winning by 13.6 metres from stablemate Drinktous Wroxton and Gus Or Bust in a mile rate of 2-04.7. To make the victory even more pleasant, the horse was sold after the event.

12th Sept: Peter Svanosio’s 6Y0 Sundon - Yankee Princess mare Shesasundon landed The 2240 metre Aldebaran Eagle @ Aldebaran Park Trotters Handicap for T0 or better class at Swan Hill. Trained and driven by son Chris, Shesasundon coming from 30 metres began swiftly to settle three back along the markers as polemarker Tzu Nien for Greg Sugars opened up a big margin. Giving chase in the last lap, Shesasundon gathered in the leader easily approaching the final bend before coasting clear in the straight to record an easy 31.7 metre victory in a rate of 2-04.6 ahead of the pacemaker which galloped under pressure over the concluding stages, with track specialist Scottish Sardius 16.4 metres away in third place after trailing the winner most of the way from a 40 metre equal back mark.

15th Sept: John Dorrington’s pacing bred 6Y0 Gotta Go Cullect - Bay Torrent gelding Pharisee was victorious in the TMO class DNR Logistics Trotters Mobile over 2240 metres at Tabcorp Park Melton. Trained by Phil Chircop in Bacchus Marsh, Pharisee driven beautifully by Craig Demmler positioned mid-field in the moving line after starting from the extreme draw. Saved for a late finish, Pharisee after easing three wide on turning, ran home stylishly to record a 3.4 metre margin over the in-form Variance which raced exposed, in a rate of 2-02.6. The heavily supported favourite Shared Interest was a disappointing third after trailing the weakening leader Kyvalley Topcat and using the sprint lane to no avail. Bred and raced by John under the banner of Dorro Nominees Pty Ltd, Pharisee chalked up his 7th success in 24 outings.

21st Sept: Beltane won again at Shepparton, taking out the Central Station Car Wash & Detailing Pace for C1 class over 1690 metres. Driven on this occasion by David Moran, Beltane despite racing wide, was too strong at the finish for Harry's Delight which led by 1.2 metres in 1-56.2. Slice Of Life was third 3 metres back after trailing the runner up after leading out.

30th Sept: Duncan McPherson's home bred 5Y0 Angus Hall - Charming Yankee gelding Aldebaran Prince was successful in the 2080 metre Yabby Dam Trotters Mobile for T0 & T1 class at Cranbourne. Trained and driven by Bolinda’s Lisa Miles, Aldebaran Prince did it tough, but did it well after racing wide to register a 7.5 metre margin in advance of Tilly Time which led and Whatalotafray who was 17.8 metres in arrears of the runner up following a mid-field trip. The mile rate 2-02.4.
