3rd June Kilmore: A good quality Beraldo Coffee Trotters Mobile over 2180 metres was a highlight of program, victory going to the Peter Svanosio part-owned and Chris Svanosio trained Michelle Phillips driven 4Y0 Orlando Vici-Bohemian Queen gelding Brandlo Prince. Despite facing the breeze throughout from outside the front line, Brandlo Prince fought on like a caged lion in the straight to score by a half head from Myrtle Vale (one/one) and Downunder Barkers (one/three – three wide trail home turn) who was a half head away third in a thrilling finale. The mile rate 2-06.

The TAB Long May We Play 3Y0 Pace over 1690 metres saw Bruce Morgan in the winners stall when Four Starzzz Shark-Ruby Slippers filly Polly Peachum with Tony Vlaeminck in the sulky run her rivals ragged. Burning away from gate five, Polly Peachum opened up a long lead and couldn’t be caught, scoring by 3.2 metres in a mile rate of 1-59.3 from Fariesdelight (one/one) and Naamark which led the outside division.

7th June Cranbourne: Shane Gallagher snared the 2089 metre Blue Hills Rise Trotters Mobile with 4Y0 Yankee Spider-Whatta Tussle mare Fear The Yankee. Driven by Chris Svanosio, Fear The Yankee was untroubled to lead throughout, accounting for Tip Top Grandpa which trailed and Scootin Around (one/one). The margins 4.8 X 4.9 metres in a mile rate of 2-02.5.

10th June Stawell: Kerryn Manning and Grant Campbell snared the 2180 metre TAB Long May We Play Pace with 5Y0 American Ideal-Caribbean Blue gelding Yankee Lincoln much to the delight of prolific owners Merv and Meg Butterworth. Driven by Grant, Yankee Lincoln (gate four) settled four back the markers with Miss McGonagall (gate two) leading. Moving to be one/one at the bell trailing rank outsider Major Exclusive, Yankee Lincoln after easing thee wide on the final bend ran home strongly to score by a half head from the in-form pacemaker in 1-58.6 (last quarter 27.8). Friends which trailed the leader was third 5.6 metres back.

13th June Shepparton: Brandlo Prince with Chris Svaosio taking the reins won again at taking the Saddleworld Shepparton Trotters Mobile over 2189 metres. Beginning bast to lead from gate four, Brandlo Prince was never heaed, greeting the judge 14.3 metres ahead of Royal Charlotte (one/two – three wide last lap) and a death-seating Myrtle Vale who was a half head away in third place. The mile rate 2-01.2.

Fear The Yankee with Chris Svanosio in the sulky won again at Shepparton, leading throughout in the 2190 metre Cottrell Electrical Trotters Mobile, scoring an easy 14.9 metre margin in 2-03.2 over Lion Heart which ran home late from a mile back, with The Majestic (one/one) third 4.4 metres back in third place.

18th June Terang: Paul Rowse shared in a winner when 4Y0 American Ideal-Diamonds N Gold gelding Yankee Gold co-trained at Bannockburn by Emmett and Richard Brosnan snared the 1680 metre Fraser’s Farm Machinery Hamilton Maiden Pace. First up since July last year, Yankee Gold driven by Emmett was very strong after sitting outside the favourite Jilliby Dingo and racing clear on turning to score by 16.1 metres in a rate of 1-57.1, with Change Of Plans third 7.8 metres back.

19th June Shepparton: Kevin Riseley’s 4Y0 Muscle Hill-Ful On Luck gelding All The Muscles trained by Patrick Ryan at Arcadia and driven by Chris Alford made a one act affair of the 2190 metre Cottrell Electrical Trotters Mobile. Beginning best to lead from gate five, All The Muscles coasted to the wire 6.8 metres in advance of Kimmywho which trailed, returning a mile rate of 2-00.9. Royal Charlotte (one/three – three wide last lap) was thirdran her usual honest race for third 1.9 metres away.

20th June TP Melton: Fred Crews’ consistent Art Major-The Warath colt Mirragon was successful in the Allied Express Pace over 2240 metres in a mile rate of 1-55.9. Driven by juvenile Ballarat reinsman Connor Clarke for Emma Stewart, Mirragon finished powerfully on straightening to prevail by a neck from the leader Arabella Star, with Im A Denny Too (three back the markers) flashing late when clear of a pocket third 3 metres back.

Peter Judd and partners were winners when Kiwi bred 4Y0 Bettors Delight-Motu Racy Girl mare Miss Hartley snared the Pridmore Electrics Pace over 2240 metres. Trained by Andy Gath and driven by wife Kate, Miss Hartley settled a long way back after being restrained from gate five as Single Tree Road was pressured from the bell by Freddy Funk with both spending plenty of petrol. Taken very wide on turning, Miss Hartley sprouted wings to blouse Im No Outlaw which dashed clear at the straight entrance looking all over a winner by 1.5 metres in a mile rate of 1-55.8. Our Sir Oliver (three wide last lap) was third 4.5 metres away.

26th June Bendigo: Bill Hutchison, Rob Molloy and Robert Blanche were “over the moon” when their 7Y0 Bacardi Lindy-Cloud Chaser gelding Cruisin Around greeted the judge in The Yabby Dam Trotters Mobile returning a track record mile rate of 1-56.1. In what was outstanding drive by Ross Payne, Cruisin Around trained at Bolinda by Brent Lilley was used off the gate to lead from barrier five, before allowing Sundons Courage (gate six) to cross on the first turn. With most of the field off the bit and chasing in a last half of 56.6 – quarter 28.8, Cruisin Around after easing off the inside on straightening, ran to the wire strongly to register a neck margin over Sundons Courage, with Our Thunder Buddy (four back the markers) using inside runs for third 21.1 metres away.
